recently i became an owner of the unbranded 4.3" (480x272) LCD sunplus-based psp mp5 player
with a horrible-looking and buggy firmware of version smth like fw ver: 00.01.00.01 descript: 1
when was taken apart, it turned out to be a sunplus smpm8010a-HL171 based board with
this on the chop itself:
SPMP8010A-HL171
0000002
0934
and this on the mainboard:
XTY-4308B_V2.1_MAIN
2009-08-25
0938
here is the link to desc and photo on the OEM cite:
http://suncomdigital.com/product_show.asp?id=417
and a small logo of XTOYO also on the board(wasn't successfull in finding out anything about this brand)
as i know there is no way to backup firmware, so i dicided to flash it anyway,
so now i have half-dead VERY buggy pmp with JXD-1000 latest firmware inside and want my old firmware back!
And little bit more information.
On the preinstalled firmware main screen (when scrolling through menu items)
there was logo, saying smth like PELER or FELER
p.s. also to solve this problem will be enough to provide me info how to download firmware from sunplus 8000 series chip-based players, 'coz i have a couple of these devices...
UP! This is
PXP-2000 device. So, no help at all?...
