Several questions about mp4 player firmware

Hi all.

This is my Explay T10 8GB player, based on Rockchip 2706
http://www.stolica.ru/pic/e/explay.t10.jpg
I want to mod it. So, I've got questions about it.

First, I can't get to the system partition using neither rkusb.tag, nor telcast.sys. Firmware is stored in T10.RKW 19 Meg file. I've unpacked it with M30Unpack tool and saw only SYSTEM folder, SYSTEM00 folder and rockres.bin file. Looks like graphics are stored in this 14 MB file. Now I'm changing graphics in it with dancemammal's Firmware puller, but I'd like to do it with more optimised way :)

Second, I've read on some forums, that Explay firmware developers reduce it's features. Are there anywhere an alternative firmware for this player but withanother brand name maybe?

P.S. Sorry for my english

You could try this:-
MP4 Nation Forums • View topic - OS-81 customization

os81 or teclast M33 firmware may work, but make sure you have a working backup in case it doesn't

Looks like os81 and m33 work on similar firmware, but their display resolutions differ from explay's display resolutionn. I think, i can't use these firmwares. Also, these firmwares look like explay standart firmware and there's no sence to change it. Are there any other solutions?
