Default Formatted my player and now it says "incorrect format"

Hi,
Yesterday i did a really stupid mistake of formatting my mp3 player thinking it works just like a Media Card, but to my disappointment the player died on me, and kept saying incorrect format.

Now this is some chinese player so i have no clue where to get the firmware from. But what i know is this one is SIGMA TEL MCN chip.

I m not very rich that i can buy a new mp3 player niether can i afford an Ipod. Losing this Mp3 Player will kill me!

PLEASE HELP PLEASE!!

What format did you format your player in? Was it FAT, FAT32 or NTFS?

Looking at the type of player it is, I think you should try FAT firstly and see if that helps. I know some chipsets requires players memory to be formatted in a specific format for it to work.
