iPod nano 4G clone AK1025, QS91B18S_B-KEY V0.3, LCD: SH-BL1165WA , Mem: HY27UTD68G2A

Hi,

I am desperately seeking a firmware for my iPod nano clone.
Info:

Board: QS91B18S_B-KEY V0.3
Display: SH-BL1165WA
Chip: AK1025
Memory: Hynix HY27UTD68G2A

I have already tried with 30+ different firmwares, but no luck so far. Sometimes it is seen in Windows as an USB hard disk and CDROM, but the display is always black (dead) or blue (lit) or it flickers.

The iPod looks exactly like this one:

Anybody here could share a firmware for this device or link to it?

Cheers!
Pawel

By the way, here is the instruction how to reset this player to the ADFU device state, when it is waiting for a new firmware. This may be helpful if you happen to brick the player by uploading a wrong firmware file to it.
So, all you need to do is to:
- switch off the player
- short pins 6 and 7 of the memory chip on the right hand side of the chip (counting from top to bottom) as shown on the attached picture. You can use a needle or a small screwdriver
- switch the player on - it should very quickly appear in Windows as the ADFU device

I hope this hint will be helpful for others trying to revive their players.

Pawel
