How to make a backup of actions chip ???
Hallo to All,
after freezing the touch screen of the MP4-Player I decided to make a update with the same firmware from another player bought the same time in hope to get a factory reset. But I can't find a way to backup the firmware. I have found some tools like "MP3 Player Utilities" to write firmware to flash, but none that read or download it to HDD. How can I get access to it? Could anybody help me please ? Ok, old thread... but first let me say thank you buecky for the answer. It was a reminder to look at the s1mp3-page for updates...
I have the players still here by me. One is defective, one is in working condition. I found them this evening again and I tried again to make a backup with the tool "s1clone". Unfortunatelly the s1clone wizard won't finish the read-out, it terminates with error message: Das Zeitlimit für die Semaphore wurde erreicht". Good try, but the problem still persists... |
