Sigmatel Firmware
 

Hi all,

I have a Sigmatel MP3 player Size :128MB that is showing the following message : Error ! Reformat Media .
It is detected as a USB mass storage not as an MP3 player . Can not be used as an MP3 player .
The firmware of the player seems to be flashed .
I was able to put the USB in Device Recovery Mode but when I use the firmware uploader SigmaTel MSCN Audio Player v3.2 I get the message : " Unable to write to device " . After googling up, it seems that this a firmware issue . (loaded version incompatible with USB chipset) .
Can not find the right firmware to load . I used the CheckUDisk.exe to find the hardware details of the USB MP3 player . Below are the CheckUDisk output:
