firmware update for super-i platinium 2gb 1.8

I bought my super i pltinium 2gb 1.8 from ebay very recently. I am fully satisfied, but it will be very nice if it could have music browsing. So i would like to know if it can be enable via a firmware update from uxcell.

g29 , a word of advise is Not to try any firmware upgrades. You won't gain any additional functions and you are more likely to kill your player with a wrong firmware update.

But i'll suggest that you perform a format on your player 1st to verify the legitimate memory size. The guide is Here.

Thank you soooo much lattesurf! I carried out the instructions on all three players and sure enough, the 4GB turned out to be 2GB, the 2GB turned out to be 1GB, but the worse one was a 4GB that turned out to be 1GB!!

But at least it won't drive me mad anymore with the sheer guesswork of how much music I can get on there before it gets corrupted!! xx
