Default Need Battery for Rhodium Player

I bought a 1 gb rhodium player from ebay.
http://www.uxcell.com/uxcell/retail/...v0blk0256mp038

Everything works fine but it only last 1 hour with a fully charge battery.

Have anyone replaced the battery with this player?
What kind of battery I can get to replace this player??

vikki99, I have moved your post to the UXcell forum so they may be able to offer you some assistance.

The way I see it you have 2 options you can either return your player to Uxcell for them to sort it out or you can void your warrenty and try replacing the battery.

I am not familiar with the Rhodium player but they all seen to use a Lithium polymer battery. Battery replacement depends on what size space you have for the battery. I posted details of 1 player that I replaced the battery with a iPod 3rd generation LithiumPolymer battery here:
http://www.mympxplayer.org/18-hours-...ge-vt2412.html
The battery used was quite large and had an 850mAh rating which returned me 18 hours continuous music play time. The player has worked perfectly without any problems since the upgrade.
I have also replaced the batteries in 2 other player using an iPod Lithium Ion replacement batteries for an ipod mini, smaller and rated 600mAh they have both worked without any problems and return 13 hours continuous music play time.

The only difference with the batteries is that the iPod batteries have 3 wires black, white and red. The white wire is not used in these players so i just cut it of and taped it to prevent a short and soldered the black and the red as they were with the original batteries.

Should you decide to replace your battery I give this information only as a report on my findings and accept no responsibility should you try this for yourself. Also as mentioned you will void your Uxcell warrenty if you as much as open your player.

It saids in your post you bought it from eBay, but you put a link to Uxcell.

Can you tell me whether it's from eBay or Uxcell that you bought your player from?

If you bought it from eBay, can you tell me the seller's details? Also was it sold as "new" or second hand?

I just want to make sure it's in the right location. I just don't want Uxcell to be thinking they have sold you a faulty player if you bought it from someone else in eBay instead and they have nothing to do with Uxcell that's all.
