It should play more than 1 amv file, worked on my 2 glaciers when they were still alive, had 3 movies on them.
There's a setting for multidrive etc. in the player's setting menu, what is your player set at? Is your player seen as 2 drives in "my computer"?

@All, could someone upload or send me a firmware dump of the Glacier, as a last resort I think I have to fiddle with one of my Glaciers, before I can send them back wednesday.

I would send you a firmware dump if I could just extract it from the player :(

I've been reading throught the last page of posts here. Sorry to hear about your troubles Que. Woah! Not one, but two dead players. That's terrible luck. My player has been working perfectly since I received it. No problems at all with sound.
Sersoft, my player from Uxcell has the same startup screen as yours,(an animated guard playing a tuba--and a wizard waving for the goodbye screen).
I've been using my player at work as well to surft the internet. I've loaded Firefox Portable on it and can access the Internet with the player hooked up via USB. I've loaded my bookmarks on it and can surf at work anonymously now! 8) I also have Sudoku portable on it as well since I'm addicted to this game.
I'll be buying another player next year. I'll be looking if there are newer players coming out next year or else I'll just pick up another Glacier as I'm happy with it.

Yeah i got those logos too, my player might be from Uxcell, but i got it off ebay, also, did you know you can just copy your local Firefox from C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox and configure it to store settings on the mp4, i just wish i could browse the internet using the player, without the need of a computer, just like a PSP or Windows based PDA.

Thanks Sersoft, but please forget I asked, don't want to get someone into trouble and end up with a non working player. Uxcell has to fix it, doesn't seem normal that a player should die after a week, or even shorter on the second one.
I had the Uxcell logo as an animation on startup, and a waving goodbye wizard on exit, with a white Chinese text on black just after the wizard.

I've found a weird problem with my glacier I dunno why but the clock on it goes too fast! I never used it until now but last night I put the right time on it and this morning the time was about 2 hours too advanced!! why? I tried putting it back but I can even see that the seconds go too fast... Does anybody else have this problem? Might be because I've got the 2.0.50 firmware...
