which player from uxcell?
first off, hello everyone I'm new.
I am thinking about purchasing a new player from uxcell. The glacier player looked perfect but I missed it, so I need your advice. what do you think about Palladium and i-Nickel players? anyone know how long do their batteries last? everytime I read about them it's like 2-3hours, but screen not turning off is mentioned, so it sounds like bad firmware or even more likely an incompetent user i want it to have 3.5mm jack and be small, light, sturdy(I'll use it on a bike too), good battery life. thanks for other tips too. PS. or should i wait for another batch of glaciers? :) |
Speaking for myself: I'm glad I took the Glacier, it is worth the wait if the batch ran out. It also depends what you want to do mostly with it. For movie watching go for a bigscreen like the palladium or similar, but low battery life comes with those big screens.
The Glacier and players like that run longer on a load, advantage of the Glacier is it uses a nokia-type BL-4C battery, widely available for a couple of dollars and with capacity till 1700 mAh, which in theory should last 30-35 hours of regular music playback. |
Re: which player from uxcell?
i have two Rhodium's they one for work and one for play, they use an sd card so i can quickly change between the two. it also has a very good 2" screen that plays avi (xvid) files at 24fps opposed to the 12fps of amv players. it also has a user defined EQ.
Battery is about 3 hours Continuous music playback but i have orderd a ipod nano battery that is 900mha. not sure if it will fit yet though but it was only a few pounds http://www.uxcell.com/uxcell/images/...mp038_ux_m.jpg |
^^ have u tried stickign a sd card thats 2gb+ into ur rhodium player?
