Re: WHat up w/ uxcell?

I would say they are removing all the holiday graphics and such from there website and stuff like that. They will be back online thats for sure.

I guess the Taiwan earthquake knocked out quite a few major undersea communications lines. Practically the whole of Asia is affected, Hong Kong inclusive.

I'm having a very bad time trying to log in to the internet, alot of sites are down.

Ok so if uxcell is down and you can't order or go to their website How does no internet effect there biz?... I placed an order and was just waiting for the shipping email (which now can't happen)
I hope they keep track of all orders through a data base that does not require internet as I want my new toy and it could be weeks to months before they get those cables repaired...

dawniec99,

I don't know what has happened with UXcell in the last few days either.

I have emailed the contact I have at UXcell already so hopefully he'll reply soon. Once I get a reply, I will update you on this post.

I e-mailed Hong Kong Post just on tuesday.

This explains no reply in so long.

Thanks PPL

The website is now working for me, but is just a little slow.
The site says:(Uxcell)
{Earth Quake in Asia
has caused temporary difficulties in website performance. Please bear with us until the internet backbone carriers can repair the problem. we apologize for causing any inconvenience,}

Yes, I can confirm (after speaking with someone from UXcell) that the problem with their site is with the earth quake in Asia.

Internet traffic had to be routed to China --> Japan --> then International.

I would say, everyone else there that are affected is doing similar so it's cause major internet slowness for them that's for sure.

Therefore due to this problem, I will extend the Lucky Dip Draw for another two weeks to give people more time to enter into the competition because of this problem.

Oh no, I thought the draw was over! I just bought a Glacier player from UXCELL two days ago, 5 minutes after reading about it on this forum. Could I still be eligible for the draw? My order no. is: ORD20070100036
