OK, I'm @ my wits end! How can I create folders on FM Plat?
So Latte enlightened me to the fact that you can't shuffle all the songs on the Full Metal Platinum. No biggie, I thought I'd just create folders such as "Favorites," with 99 or less songs of course. Before I try to sync (in WMP), I create the folder (I've tried creating it under Music and also as a root folder) but it still just creates its own under the group/singer name in the Music folder. I went in and unchecked the option in WMP to create hierarchy folders but now it just puts all the songs in the ROOT folder, but there is a limit so that doesn't work either! Am I missing something on creating folders or what?!

Isn't your drive showing in "my computer" as an extra drive? I just copy/paste folders/songs to the player through there.

Actually, I think you can randomize the songs. Got to the menu while playing then go to repeat then go to random. It works on my player. You may have to scroll down in the repeat screen to get to random.

JenJen80 , it is very difficult to get the sync working with WMP. Some managed to get it to work, some don't.
What i'll suggest would be to manually add songs to your player via explorer. As what Que had mentioned, by using the copy/paste function. The player acts as a normal USB thumbdrive when plugged in. It'll be easier to manage your files this way. |
JenJen80, there are a couple of easy to use file sync apps here:

The new Winamp also supports Syncing with Portable Media devices. Detects mine as one although I have yet to try it.

Thanks, guys - I added them like the first responder suggested, cut/paste in Windows Explorer. Worked like a charm. And I upgraded to the 1.8" FM Platinum and did the same, easy as pie! Thanks again, you're all very helpful! :)
