i Platinum ADFU mode
 

Hi,

My Uxcell i-Platinum 1,5" become in ADFU mode suddenly. It has mobo SRX-93-main v0.2 2006-11-25 and chipset ATJ2093H. I think the firmware was ACT 9.0.48.
I tried one firmware, the writing was ok, windows start to find USB Mass Storage again but the mp4 screen is always black.
Can anyone help me?

There is no way to repair the firmware and flash it if the version is 9.0.48 and up, yet. We have to wait for the program to be updated so it can handle the latest chips. The last fw version that can be flashed is 9.0.43.

Alexandre_es, The firmware you used is not the right one for your player. As 'Que"pointed out you may need to wait until the firmware extraction tools are updated for the newer versions, once this happens there will be a lot more firmware available to try and recover your player.

Yes, the firmware was not native from the mp4, because it the screen is blcak! I'm wholesale of Uxcell players in Brazil, and in my last purchase I bought 20un of i Platinum 1,5" and when it arrived I noticed that the mp4 layout was different, I checked the Firmware version and it was different from the other I bought in other purchase.
From the 20un, 12 got problem, they were not charging even in USB and even in wall charger, and I thought it was a firmware problem....but after many hours on the player with my mutimeter a found the problem...I'll do a post with that repair!
Today 01-25-2007 arrive in my store another customer with charging problem and after I repaired the player I got the real Firmware.

FW: SRX-1.5C-005
Date: 2006-11-06

Why Uxcell could not give us a firmware copy?
I'm very bothered with Uxcell because I'm trying to do a new purchase, it is was paid 7 days ago and they at least sent me an email!!!!! Are they with problems?

Alexandre_es, These new firmware are causing many problems. I would imagine that with Uxcell's buying power they could demand copies of firmware from their suppliers but then they change so fast that it would be a nightmare keeping track of what firmware is for which player. It would be nice if they had a support page on their web site with firmware downloads though.

It would be great if you could post a solution to the battery problem as I know many members have reported charging problems with their players.

Uxcell have their own forum here and It appears that if you PM 'Uxcell' here you will get a faster responce to any questions you may have.

I can imagine how difficult is to demand copies of firmware, because there are many players, many boards, many chipsets....but we need it :D !
Do you think that only with the bin I can get the player out from ADFU, or I will need the full firmware?
They still didn't answer me...I'm being concerned! I posted a new topic with my ORD number, and I'm waiting they reply!
I'll do the topic about repairing charging problem as soon as I can!
