Chargers for Uxcell Platinum

I got a I-platinum for christmas. It worked great for a while, now it won't stay charged. The charger is not working either. When I plug it into the wall the only light that works on the charger is the red light. Where can I get another charger, becasue my battery is completly dead. HELP PLEASE!!!!

You can buy anything on ebay, but a computer- or radio shop (radio shack?) could sell them. The problem might be not the adapter if the red light is still on. Is it the type with a red led for status and a green one for charging? Is your player charging off the computer's usb port? If not, the cable, battery or circuit board might be bad.

It is the charger with the red led for status and a green one for charging. Even when I plug into the wall socket only the red light is one. The green light use to jump like it wanted to work, but it still didn't charge. I was just wondering is it too late to get a replacement or something to help get it fixed. I have emaild uxcell, but no response yet.

Waiting for uxcell can take a while, if you ever get an answer. Is your player charging from an usb port of the computer? Can you still transfer files to it?

I say its the battery. Because I recall that the green light doesn't come on unless you connect the usb cable. Presumably, that means the battery has to be alive & kicking for the green light to come on. Has anyone figured out how these lights work, anyway?

It seems the green light shuts off after recharging is at full cap, but I haven't confirmed this every time. Que gave a good suggestion about using the USB port, which will solve the mystery of whether the AC charger is still good.
