average delivery time
 

hi guys, what's the average delivery time from Uxcell? My player was shipped on the 25th January and it still hasn't arrived, is this normal?

My mp4 was delivered on 29th and arrive today, im spanish, but if you are worried try to track your order in the italian post web. In spanish post offices web you can track your order.

My Glacier was despatched on the 25/1 and arrived 31/1.

marcolo86 , i've noticed in the past that incoming deliveries for Italy takes longer than usual. Perhaps it is currently held up at the Italian customs.

thanks for the replies! i contacted the Italian Postal Service and they said its way too early for it to arrive as the average incoming time is 25 days! :shock: :shock: :shock:

Perhaps the Italian Postal Service staff are using the player right now before repacking and sending it off to you.

Time they get some competition like here in the Netherlands. Everything from around the world in less than a week. Only large packages from the USA are held longer, to check for guns with x-ray maybe?

Have any brazilian ever ordered it from uxcell? I've on 2th.

Hmm.. well the first glacier I bought on UXCELL took from 12/26/06 (date of payment) to 1/11/07 - which was about two weeks. It took them awhile to ship though because of the New Year delays and everything so that's understandable. When that stopped working they sent me a new one on 1/25 - and it arrived only 4 days later on the 29th - amazing! Usually for me stuff from Hong Kong takes about a week to get to me, but I have had a couple of things take almost a month (including the mp4 that just arrived last Saturday), so basically you just have to be patient.

my player was shipped from 22nd of January ... and not yet arrive eventhough I check on the web and it's still said ENROUTE from WASHINGTON O_O ... wth ... usually, once it arrive there, I can safely assume it will be transfer up to my state in a matter of days . But nope ... arrive in US in 26th ... and today is Feb 5 >< ... Dont think it take long to get around the US ... considered fly time only 12h max ... well 7hrs from Washington to my state ~_~ .

Just out of curiosity, may i ask what shipping rates/methods people are using?.. for example.. are you paying the rediculously high UPS shipping or the standard and much cheaper rates (US$5, AU $7, GBP 3, EUR 4 etc etc) and how long it took to arrive?

@Oddysey : Is there a choice on this ??? o_O .... the only thing there was ... FLAT RATE if that ever come accross ur mind if and IF u ever buy from the uxcell website . Unless u are asking ABOUT the company who sell it at what they are using ~_~ .

I am referring to the shipping rates on the Uxcell.com website. If you purchased your media player from them (unless it only appears to specific countries, which I doubt) you would have the choice of 2 methods. Either to have your item delivered by UPS, or by Standard Shipping. I would like to know what method anyone here chose, and how long it took to be delivered according to thier choice of shipping. Another reason i'm asking is to understand why, when converted to Australian$, UPS shipping costs more than the mp4 player i want to purchase. :roll:

I haven't received my MP4 yet, however it's TOOO SOOON for me to receive it. I've ordered on the cheapiest (Standard Shipping) which was $5 to me (Brazil). Plus if you buy more than one item together it would cost ($5 + $2 + ... $2).
I know that where I live, it will take more than usual to arrive as whenever it gets to my city, the Policy will check it up and perharps tax it... =(
For my brother, it took more than 3 weeks however it arrived in my city in less than 2 weeks.

I used the standard $5 shipping...I'm quite sure the player is stuck in the customs or something, even though the Hong Kong Post tracking service only specifies "sent on Jan 25th"...oh well I'll keep you updated

marcolo, ciao anch'io ho acquistato da uxcell un mp3 glacier in data 22/01/2007 e ancora non ho notizie. Puoi dirmi come fare per capire a che punto è la spedizione, se per caso il prodotto è gia' in Italia?

ciao! non devi fare altro che telefonare al numero gratuito delle poste italiane (803160) comunicandogli il numero che immetti nel sito delle poste di hong-kong, per intenderci quello che inizia con "RA" se hai scelto la spedizione standard. A me hanno detto che il tempo medio per entrar e in Italia è 15-20 giorni, quindi attendiamo con calma che i nostri cari servizi ci permettano di usufruirne presto...!

Eu pedi e paguei no dia 30 de Janeiro e eles enviaram dia 2 de fevereiro. Ainda não recebi já que faz muito pouco tempo, mas assim que eu receber eu te mando a notícia... e tipo, eu sou do Rio, e pelo o que eu sei, as coisas enviadas aqui pro Rio costumam demorar mais que nos outros estados porque aqui a PF pega mais pesado, assim como em Minas.

Hi friends. Well i thought I would add my 'info' here.. as i got a rather nice surprise in the mail about 30 minutes ago. My new 1GB Full Metal Platinum arrived!! Quickly I might add too!

Ordered on Jan 29, 2007. Shipped from Hong Kong on Jan 31. Arrived in 'outback' Queensland Australia, Feb 7.
I paid AU$7 postage plus AU$5 additional shipping insurance.

I really feel for those of you who are still waiting, i can only assume the reasons are it has further to travel and different countries postal/import regulations must slow it down alot.
The package was a little squashed, but it was in the box sealed inside a thick brown envelope/post bag. I'll add my review in the 'review' section when i've had more time to give it a decent charge and fiddle with it some more. Seems great so far.

For my first purchase i say "Well done Uxcell!"

As I said, I paid on day 31/01 and a few days later I received this one "We shipped your order on 2007-02-02 16:24:01.0"... later... HongKong Post says "The item departed Hong Kong for its destination on 5-Feb-2007."

And finally at brazilian website: "Recieved in country 08/02/2007 15:30"...
It's already 12/02 but they must still be checking my import... I hope it comes before friday as I'm going to travel "Carnaval! xD"...

I'll continue later when I receive my MP4.

anch'io sto aspettando un glacier spedito il 25/01/07. Ancora niente. Mi associo, il primo che riceve, posta qui. Pero' cavoli 10 marzo mi sembra una data considerevole. Mi stavo domandando se poi convenga il acquistare direttamente da H.K. per il risparmio di 15 o 20 euro, visto che in ebay si trovano mp3 da 2gb a prezzi decenti e con venditori affidabili e veloci italiani.Vabbe'

I ordered mine on the 15th, It left Hong Kong on the 16th and I got it on the 19th. 3-4 days isn't so bad.

Finalmente è arrivato!!! IERI 21 febbraio! E' bellissimo, sono soddisfattissimo! :-)

anche il mio, 23/02 ma non ero a casa domani lo ritiro...7,15 euro di spese ti risultano?

my palladium got here a couple days ago! too bad i wasnt home to collect it i'm picking it up tomorrow...i'll let ya know how it is!

No, fortunatamente a me non hanno fatto pagare nulla. Mi è andata bene evidentemente. Cmq fammi sapere cosa ne pensi. Io credo che i video si vedano alla grande! (ho comprato un full metal platinum con display da 1.8)
