Well that's interesting. I actually find myself agreeing with Dave above, that it was a link probably left over from before they corrected the specs, and that someone -should- email them for clarification, before they get more customers upset about having received something they weren't expecting (or worse, being accused of being "scammers, for falsely advertising AVI players that arent...).

I got a player on eBay that looks exactly like a black version of the Rhodium. It has the same looking menu as another rockchip player I saw pictured here and it plays AVI (xvid with mp2). Thanks for pointing out the software - I was about to buy the xilisoft thing.

I had got it for my kid and liked it so much I got another for me.

I think that a 224x176 player hits the sweet spot because 320x240 video would take up 2x the space and I don't want to use > 1GB for a 2 hr movie.
