Zoooooom sound on Glacier
 

As I told before, I am happy with my Glacier that I bought from Uxcell, but there is a small but annoying problem with it.

In between two songs, there is a zooooom sound in the background. From the moment the song starts to play, the zoooooom is gone. Is there a way to solve this problem? Is it related to the player? Or is it the combination of the headset with the player. I use a in-ear headset, so I can hear everything.

I had the same problem with another USB stick type mp3 player. So I think it is not typical for the Glacier.

Here too, tried a couple of headsets. It sounds like it's gone once a song starts, but you hear it in quiet parts too, like a washing machine somewhere far away, woosh-woosh-woosh.
The cpu reading memory and sending it to the amplifier?

I just tried with a old fashiones set of headphones. And then there is no zooooom sound in between songs or in quit parts. So i gues it is the combination mp3 player/headset. But I am not a spe******t in that matter.

Maybe it can be the difference in Impedance, there seems to be 16 ohms and 8 ohms Impedance headsets. Any suggestions?

Same here with a pair of old Sony's. They max out in volume at about 3/4 of the volume on regular 8 ohm phones, so they are probably 16 ohms. The static is hardly noticed with these, but they are open headphones, so half of the music is lost anyway to outside noises. I tried them in the morning (4.30 am, all quiet) and you can still pick up the static, but very faint. Not a solution for me, I think it is a hardware design flaw, as the static in radio recordings and radio menu is. Too bad, I like the design of the Glacier, but this quirks ruin the listening experience, even more with quality in-ear phones.

I had another test. I tried in ear phones on a 1.8" Uxcell FMP, and there was the static noise. I tried in ear phones on a 2.0" Uxcell GLacier, and again there was static noise. Then I used in ear phones on a 1.5" Uxcell FMP, and there no no static noise at all. So that makes me think that the bigger screen can be the source of the static.
