FMP 1.8 VS Glacier, Which to Choose?

I just found out about this site and MP4's in general, never knew these existed before.

I'm now looking to purchase one for MP3 usage.

Between the FMP 1.8 and the Glacier, (2GB from Uxcell), which is the "best" one to get? Looking for ease of use mainly. They both are about the same price.

Our music collection is all mp3's, no ogg or wma files, just mp3's.

I'm kind of leaning toward the Glacier for the big screen and an easy to change battery if the original one goes out.

Thanks for any info on helping me make my mind up.

Don't know anything about the FMP, but got 2 glaciers. 2 things about the glacier I dislike (actually some more, but these are related to mp3 play) and may be of importance to you: there's a dynamic noise heard between songs and on more quiet parts, like if you hear a washing machine far away, memory reading interference??
I can not fast forward or rewind through songs fast when playing mp3's. It goes in 3 or 4 second steps, so it takes ages to get to the middle of some large live concert. Ogg's ff and rewind okay. Maybe other Glacier owners can confirm these quirks.

I have one of the glacier 4GB and it will not work with XP Home.And no one seem to know where to get drivers for it.[b]

I recently bought a glacier from uxcell its great easy to use once you get the hang of it in the download section of the site thiers a program called mp3 to wav geat that because i had 2 gigs of mp3 into a little under 1 gig now

I have a Glacier 2GB and it works fine with my Win XP home PC. No need for drivers. When you plug it in a USB port, it automatically connects and appears as a flash drive. Then you can transfer music, video, etc...

By the way, to answer previous postings, why do you need a big screen if the only thing you want to do with your MP4 player is listen to MP3 music? As a matter of fact, why do you need an MP4 player? Go for a MP3 player with a small LCD screen. They're much cheaper.
A big screen MP4 player is useful if you want to view photos or videos. My two cents...
