Default My Glacier is stuck on the hourglass screen!

My Glacier has been working great, and I really liked it.

But now today, it won't turn on. All I get is the hourglass screen, which never goes away.

Reading around, it seems like my problem is unfixable. It also seems that there are UXcell people here on this forum to help...?

Here's my information:

Order #: ORD20070120759

Item #: mv0blk2048mp039

What do I do?

One more dead Glacier. :'( RIP.

I really want this player, but isn't it like 99.99% that it will die in 5 days? o.o

Should I email UXcell? Or wait a while?

I don't mind waiting, as long as eventually I get this resolved...

moosealert , try emailing them instead. Sometimes your post might get missed.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

i have said it a hundred times. the same things happened to my nokia battery mp4 player and a change of battery worked.

you have not experienced this problem so it would be better for me to advise moosealert since i have experienced what he is undergoing right now

no offence nanocopyuser

mossealert, if you arent convinced i am sure one of your friends might be having a nokia mobile phone. borrow its battery from them for a few mins and see if it works. you could also borrow it for a day to be satisfied that it doesnt occur over a period of time.

the battery should be either bl-4c or 5c. bl-4c is preferred since you can close the battery cover as well. but if you can find only bl-5c its ok. dont close the battery cover. just test and see

Thanks for the tip.

I've finally managed to get the cover off... But taking the battery out doesn't fix it.

I'll try and get my hands on another battery...

I had a problem with my glacier. I emailed Uxcell and after a series of diagnosis emails (which I replied to) they asked me to return it for a replacement, I have just recieved the replacement.

If you have not yet emailed Uxcell, email details of the problem and the order number - info@uxcell.com

Full details of my progress through to getting a replacement are here:
