Default What to do first?New Glacier.

I should receive my new Glacier in ten days. Whats the first thing I should do or that I should know about the Glacier. Is there something I should do first to make sure it is what the seller says it is. I would like to give it a good run thru so if its going to die on me, It will do it early so that i can return it. It was purchased for ebay dealer ceo1shop. Who says all sales are final but then states that states Refunds are only offered for defective products reported within 7 days upon receipt. So i hopfully I have 7days to find the defect if any. Really dont want to find any, but if its there i would like to know it sooner than later.

I would advise to low level format it using the latest MP3 Util, as explained in the hacked player thread. Your player may come with a note advising against formatting it. Ignore this. Then fill the player up, use it often and recharge often, especially via wall charger (these cheap wall chargers can blow up the battery/player, so that could be counted as a defect....).

Just outta curiosity how many songs does it take to fill a 2GB player??? I know it depends on how much space a song may take up, but just a round figure would be nice. Since I was told to fill the player up. I may not even have enough music to fill up 2GB's of space. Maybe a movie or two???

Camaro , assuming your music files average 5MB each, you'll need about 400 tracks to fill it up. If you don't have that it many, it's also alright, you can just create multiple folders and copy the same files into those additional folders.
Copying movies in would be another option, then try playing it on your computer whilst it's connected via USB.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
