The customs returns the package to the sender
 

I have order a mp3 player from uxcell but I saw by the tracking system that the Canadian customs returned the package to uxcell. Uxcell is it a seller honest, him are going to send back to me the package or shall we answer me that the package is lost? Did I lose my money? Had anybody the same problem as me?

ralphthecat , it's seems kinda weird. But what i'll suggest is that you contact the Canadian Customs and ask them for the reason for returning the package. The customs usually would contact the addressee first before doing anything to incoming packages.

It doesn't make sense, if the postage was insufficient, they would collect the excess from you. If it needed taxes to be paid, they would again collect it from you.

So contact your customs service and verify what is happening.

What exactly did you order?

I heard from a friend in germany that uxcell rejected his order straight away, citing customs problems ... he had ordered one of the ipod nano knock offs ... I can imagine that some customs agencies in some countries open the package, see an obvious knock off .. and return it ..

From what I read so far it appears that uxcell are really trying to give good customer service .. so I would expect that once they receive the parcel back, you should get your money

I am also in Quebec and have never had customs return any of my shipments from UXCell, or even bother me about any of them (ie. asking me to pay duties). So I can't imagine why on earth they sent the shipment back? In any case, UXCell will -not- lie and say they never received the return! They are an honest company, so I dont think you have to worry about that, but you should find out why Canada Customs rejected the shipment, in case the company has to resend the player.

How do you know where the package was?

If they sent it by UPS, then yes there is a customs problem, but if it was marked as BULK, then I don't think it should show up?

I'm guessing bulk= regular mail

Please contact customs about the package and see what they say.

If they have sent it back already, let me know of the order number and I'll let my contact at UXcell know about it so they can look out for it when it arrives back and find out why it got returned. Also I'll ask them to resend it to you, or whatever solution they suggest.

The customs did not admit the package, the package has an incomplete address, I hope that Uxcell is going to return it to me or to refund me!
