I know what you mean regarding the poor customer service. I sent back a 2gb MP4 player 3 weeks ago and Australia Post Says the its been deliverd cos it was registared.
Now i email Uxcell bout 4 times and no response. I boutght the damm thing of them not ebay. Its a clasical problem of a 2GB player that onle has 128MB memory. I just get pissed off when you ask them have you recived the item, or what stage are we at and you get no response. If the Uxcell guy reads this my order no is: ORD20070204644 on the 2007-02-04 And the customer support ticket no is: Ticket#2007022210006132 |

Admin helped me out. I got a new FMP to replace my old one, but I'm not sure he does that on a regular basis.

FYI... There is a firmware for the FMP 1.8 version V9.1.50 on uxcell's site. Might be worth a try.

I got my new FMP 1.5. I'm pretty happy with it now. Uxcell ended up coming through. I'm now thinking of getting the I-nickel.
