My i-platinum is stuck on the hourglass screen!

Please help me someone!!! Everytime i turn on the MP3 Player the only thing that shows up is the hourglass screen and nothing else. It won't do nothing, just the hourglass screen. Can somebody help me with this problem? What can i do?

I had the same problem with mine but I fixed it. What you need to do is follow the " Dead Recover mp3 player" forum. That helped me alot to reset my mp3 player then install a fresh copy of the firmware back on.

Hi everyone ,

I bought a Platinum 1.5 inch and while i was on the plane 2 days ago from holiday , the screen got stucked on the hourglass icon too !
I thought for 30 pounds , of course i get this kind of issues !
Can anyone help me to find how to get it working again . And i read the ''Dead Recover mp3 player" but i dont want to mess it up even more !
It was working fine for a week and then this happened !
i am very annoyed cos i really liked it .

I am thinking of returning it , but it will cost me more to return it than buy a new one !!

hey I seen your post about your problem an my advice to you is to private message Keith with you problem and ask him if they will replace it. I had a problem with mine and I told keith and they replaced it; Keith is a person that works at uxcell and he goes by the name Uxcell on here.

Mine had the same problem but it was a nano clone. Follow the dead player recovery guide just skip the taking apart area I swear it shouldn't hurt it, it didn't hurt mine.

Thanks guys for your reply. I think im gona ask Keith first what to do ...and if i have to return it or not !!
I dont anything in electronics so i dont know if i should use the dead player recovery guide !!! just in case i mess it up even more !!

Did you get your FMP 1.5 player running again? What did you do? New firmware?
