does the FMP 1.8 screen ever dim down?
 

i tried playign mp3 on it and not touch a button in like 5 min, the screen is still as bright as before... should it dim down to save battery? or it suppose to be that bright all the tiem?

warlock110... You have to change one the settings. Go to into Setup > LCD Set > change 'Darkmode' to the length of time you want the screen on until it switches to dark.

thanks, the manual came with the player = some other brand lol... i had to figure everything out and that was the last of it... thanks again.

cool this also helped me out...now i think i will get more then 4 hrs with my player.
