Received my FMP 1.8 2 gb mp3/mp4 player
I'm in the process of uploading a video I took while opening it up, but I missed the driver disk as well as the instructions that was under the carton my player and the cords were in...hopefully the video came out and I'll be able to edit it in. So far it looks like everything works well but I have to wait til my husband gets home to help me set up everything because I'm technologically impaired, LOL!
Editing to add the video I took of it. Please excuse my wobbliness...I had to do this one -handed! LOL!

Hey I recognize that! Looks like you got the exact same color and player as I got for my GF (video more impressive than the blurry photo i uploaded of the pink FMP). Looks like everything is exactly the same as I got. Well, except for the el cheapo earphones. Mine came with Creative EP630's. I guess they only include those for repeat customers or something.
The bubble /is/ normal, its just an air bubble under the protective sheet. Normally, you remove the protective plastic film over the screen. I like to keep mine on however to protect against scratches. You dont really notice the air bubbles when its turned on. Hint: keep your finger on MENU for a few secs while playing hotel california. It'll show you the lyrics.

I dont' really care for my headphones but hey...it's good. So far I LOVE my mp3 player and have most of the music I want uploaded to it, so I'm very very happy with it! I'm just wondering if I can buy some sort of cord where I can hook it up in my truck when I drive and if it will work that way.
No complaints from me! And I LOVE the color. Funniest part is now both my husband and our 7 yo daughter are whining about wanting one as well! We shall see!

omfg that was sooooooo hilarious you couldn't get it on!!!!!!
sorry but i found that really funny
i think my 7 year old brother knows more about mp3/4 players than you. well he does no offense.
anyways it's simple to use it, use the left and right arrows to go left and right on the main menu, left and right to switch through the songs left and right, menu to go to the menu, and the middle button is play. it says all of that on the instruction manual. i think that if you know how to use the computer then you'll be able to use the mp4 player.

You can get a wireless FM transmitter if you have a radio in your truck, and broadcast the mp4 player thru that (it you get one with a cable, it can power the transmitter thru your lighter socket)

I know how to use it now...I've never had a MP3 player before so give me a break here...oh my lord, your brother is the same age as my daughter. I swear, technology is nuts. These kids will probably know how to work all the crazy gadgets before us old geezers (like myself) do! HAHAHA! (Just kidding, of course!)
And it has nothing to do with being a girl!! Rather it has to do with being impaired in this..erm..dept!

Sweet, thank you for letting me know. My husband was thinking of getting me a wireless FM transmitter (which is what he has to play his Mp3 player in his car).
My daughter is dying for one...we're looking at getting a 2-4 gb one for my husband and giving her his because she's too darn young to have something this thin. I'm afraid she'd break it. LOL!!!
ETA: I am still dying over the fact that I can store a lot of songs in this TEENY thing. When I was a teenager hauling my CDs and discman around was a pain in the butt!!!

If you want a wireless transmitter, I recommend this one, which I bought 5 minutes ago:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA:IT&ih=011
It can scan all 200 channels, has digital readout with time & temp, comes with USB cable & cigarette lighter adapter. (I already have one like it, works
well). Cost? $8US shipped. Seller doesn't have the cleanest record, but has the cheapest prices.
I'm currently looking at the Bianca models instead of getting another FMP, because its reported to play for 8hrs, which is a lot more than an FMP. If you just want teeny, there's the shuffle clone, but I'd much rather get a good small mp3 player that is worn like a necklace.
When I was a teenager, I invented the world's first Walkman (before Sony ever came out with one). It was actually a microcassette recorder that I used to copy my songs to and listen with on earphones. Mono yes, but still... a "walkman".

Re: Received my FMP 1.8 2 gb mp3/mp4 player
I got the same thing few days ago from UXCell. It's the same color, the only diffrence I could see from the video that you uploaded was the headphones. Mine are white but not exactly the same. Doesn't matter since I already have a Sennheiser CX 300 earplugs ready to pair them with this mp4 player.
Didn't had a chance to test it completly since it's a gift for my girlfriends birthday on 22. of march. So I just uploaded some songs. Tested if all keys are working. I also did a format of the memory so I could be sure it's not a fake 2GB. Well. It's genuine. I've fully loaded it with mp3s and it still plays every song I start. I just hope it will be possible to mod the theme for this player since I would realy love to have Slovenian menu.
michiganjfrog: Have you found anything wrong with your model? How long does the batteries last once they are full loaded? Also, do you perhaps have some kind of manual for this player? I didn't know how to turn on lyrics until I saw it in here. Thanks for the answer.
