Default Bianca?

Now when the nano clones(FMP's) are gone, what player is good? The glacier seems to be nice, but, soo many people has problems with it that I don't even wan't it.

I have heard that the Bianca has up to 8h mp3 playback. UXcell says: "Rechargeable Li-ion Battery can be up to 6-8 hours Continue MP3 playback and 3-4 hours Continue MP4 playback"

Yes, it has a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack!

And the built in speaker is a big +.(I might get it just because of this)

I can also see that the Bianca got cheaper after the Nano clones were removed. $36.99 + $5(shipping) and - 10% is very cheap! = $38.29

Now, I wan't to know if the Bianca has much firmware problems like the Nano clones (besides the FMP 1.8, that many people were happy with)

And how is it? Functions? Quality? If someone has this player, I would be very happy to see a review.

Thanks.
/Dima

i ordered one of these roughly 2 days before the nano clones disappeared so as soon as i get it ill post a review of it and compare it to the FMP1.8. the Bianca is apparently physically smaller than the Glacier. if need be i can also post what chipsets it uses with pics of internal components and how to pull it apart, although it might not interest anyone.

i previously owned a Glacier that just died, usually a 10 - 15% failure rate is good but it cant be proved if its all hardware fault or its picky with certain things. the failures could be caused buy the wall charger that is included, it could be from not disconnecting from computer properly, the generic battery that is included.

for example, when the FMP1.8 is not disconnected correctly it resets settings back to default. when i have my FMP plugged into the wall charger and the battery is fully charged when the player screen "dims" the backlight flashes. when plugged into computer the back light operates fine.

one thing i did notice is that the included USB cables with most MP4 players cant transfer current very well. how i found out was i have an external hdd that is usb powered and with the included cable (much thicker gage and better shielding) i can power it and work with 1 usb connector plugged in,
BUT when i try to use the cheap MP4 cable the drive doesn't even spin up. weather this actually means anything or not i think its interesting

Yup, that IS interesting. i don't think anyone is saying the included hardware with these mp4 players is great quality. or that the players themselves are! For that reason, best to get one that uses a std mini-USB, then get a GOOD quality (ie. Belkin) mini-USB cable, a GOOD quality charger (ie. 500mah), and you'll probably be better off in the long run.
