I beg to differ. I have two Glaciers and use them primarily for viewing anime. Playback is fine for that. Not so good for live action video. It's a question of bandwidth -- live action vid has too many pixels changing from frame to frame, anime doesn't . You also have to play with the AMV conversion software to fine tune the resolution/frame rate. There is some artifacting in the video and an occasional stutter, but hey, I get that on my Creative Zen Vision too. So for casual anime viewing I would definitely reccomend it.
BTW, after reading the other posts on this topic I have to say I love how people post opinions based on no experience whatsoever. I guess that's the nature of these things, but honestly, if you dont' know what you're talking about, why talk?
