Default Glacier Modified Firmware

Ok so i just ordered a 4GB Glacier and was looking at the Knowledge Base of this site and there was a guide about backing up and modifying the firmware to use custom pictures i was just wondering if anyone here had tried this with their Glacier and what results they got.

Unfortunately the Glacier's current version of firmware isn't supported by the latest firmware extraction tools...so no firmware customization :-(
