no delivery of mp4 player to germany
 

i placed an order -see below- two month ago but did not receive the mp4player.
uxcell is telling me its due to customs reasons in Germany.
i asked the local authority but it is not true.
i have to pay about a third more for products over 22 euro local tax but that is all.

now i have a bunch of accessories but no players.

maybe uxcell dont want to deliver because the price for a player is only 40euro -was just the case on te day i ordered. maybe their computer made an unwanted extra special offer... good knows...i want the players and by now i am very pissed about all that. best regards

German and Austrian customs are known for picking out Nano look-a-likes, and destroying them because they are considered as counterfeit goods,thus illegal. This really happens, and Uxcell looses money because they have to refund the buyer. Could be the reason Uxcell stopped shipping Nano look-a-likes there?

but what is about the Glacier - MP4 Player ? It is also part of the order.

dumm-user , i've heard of European customs confiscating counterfeit goods, be it at the airport or incoming mail.

So perhaps your player did get confiscated. The customs officer might have pocketed your Glacier in the process.

QUE, is maybe right ..but what is about the glacier is it a counterfeit product?if not there must be an other answer.

HOWEVER; were do i get the players within europe so it will fit to the accessories uxcell already send to me.
maybe I throw the nokia battery in the bin, so what cant i buy that fits to the charger and fm transmitter?

There are a lot of glaciers on ebay for sale, looks like no one refuses to ship to Germany, you might want to try one of them. I don't think the Glacier is a copy of anything, looks like Uxcell restricted some countries because they had trouble getting goods delivered. They might want to drop Italy too, a lot gets "lost" there, what arrives takes months, so customers are going crazy waiting.
Here in Holland, I never payed taxes on stuff from Hong Kong or China, mp3 players or laptop batteries. Maybe you know someone abroad that can receive the player for you, and send it to you?

You can get the Glaciers from ebay.de. Some sellers ship directly from Germany. I got one from china and had to pay around 35 % import tax:
12,50 (player) + 10 (shipping) + 8 (import tax) = 30,50 EUR for an 1 GB version.

initially i wanted to buy one via ebay but i choosed uxcell because I wanted to reduce the risk to get a player with hacked memory...see the black list of this forum.

on ebay the glacier are so far as i see all from hong kong based dealer and they are reffering to uxcell.

so i have to cancel the order with uxcell get my money back and then buy from a dealer sitting in the same street in hong kong and the delivery comes from the same factory in i.e. in Shenzhen and uxcell gets their percentage.

uxcell should STOP accepting orders from germany or other countries were they dont deliver and they should do that upfront before they accept my credit card payment.

wow, next time I hitch-hike to hong kong or dubai and buy my stuff personally and that will probably take less than 2 month.

There are many dealers at ebay.de, that deliver from Germany. A bit more expensive, but no import tax and 2 years warranty.

ja; not so easy to find them between the thousend offers can you recommend one.
uxcell wrote they will refund the two players.

Also empfehlen kann ich keine, da ich meinen ja aus China bekommen habe, aber ich stell mal ein paar links von Auktionen mit Versand aus Deutschland rein:

Preise musst du selbst vergleichen ;-)
Meinen hab ich aus China von dem:
Versand aus China
Aus China musst du halt 30 % Zoll zahlen, falls Preis+Versand über 22 € sind. Außerdem kannst du da wahrscheinlich Garantie und Gewährleistung knicken, auch wenn es da steht. Die Versandkosten nach China wären einfach nicht rentabel.

PS: Der Bugmenot User is nur ein Sammelaccount von www.bugmenot.com, hab mir jetzt mal selbst was angemeldet. Leider kann man nicht Franken auswählen also musste ich Bayern nehmen ;)
