Default Glacier vs. Creative Zen

I'm the proud owner of two Uxcell Glaciers 2 gbyte players and a Creative Zen Vision 30 gbyte media player. I' ve had the 2 glaciers for about 3 months now and they are working fine. Playback is great, file system is fine, batteries holding their charge. Everybody who sees them think they're really cool.

I've had the Creative Zen for about a month. Obviously a much slicker package with a bigger screen and 15X storage for about 5X the price. Much heavier and clunkier, of course. Great screen with excellent audio/ video playback.

Bottom line -- the Glacier is a great buy for the $$. Interface is not as pretty as the Zen but no less functional. Certain features, such as browsing video clips, are even better than the Zen's. The form factor is just about perfect, fits right in the palm of your hand.

If I'm going on a long flight and I want to watch a couple of movies, I'll take the Zen. But for everyday boppin around, I take the Glacier everytime.

The 30G Creative Zen Vision was my dream player, long before I ever got my Glacier, or heard of it. Glad to see that they aren't worlds apart! More like .5" apart perhaps...
