Pearl Z white screen no functions.
 

Hi I already tried the firmware update from the Uxcell site after receiving info from them to do so , as I am reluctant to do firmware updates ,but the unit seems not to like that particular version as I have noticed that at times it seems to be dead although the pc sees it as a usb drive.But no functions available from unit.Is it possible to get a dump from a good one. the unit was bought around December 2006 ie a couple of months back ( for idea of firmware version).
Maybe a previous version is needed.
