as much I like pretty much every new player they have on offer now, I must say that I do not like the price. Specially if they use the same firmware/microchip as FMPs.

it seems to me (wild guess) that the players are just in different cases except the "Vista" which seems to be like the Black Hawk, My Mate... the Vista sorta makes me wonder what chipset it uses though... pitty the new players are only 6 - 8 hours playback time though although the black pearl uses a nokia battery...... i sent an email off to uxcell asking to change my order from a glacier to a black pearl ops: and the fact that i can easily get a 4GB mini sd card makes me jealous if i cant get it :P

I was going to purchase a player from Uxcell but with all the new players they have listed I am now very confused as what to puchase. I will not use for playing videos but do like a large screen. After reading various comments on this site it appears that whilst other manufacturers are fitting new and better chips Uxcell appear to be falling behind the competition.

Any advice would be appreciated as i have bought items from Uxcell in the past and have had excellent sevice from them.
Thanks

After reading posts on this site I was under the impression that the rockchip based players were faster. Is this not the case?
