FM Radio problems with Spectrum?
 

Does anyone have problems with the radio feature of the Spectrum MP4 player? I want to know if I can fix it instead of returning it to Uxcell.

My 2GB Spectrum is barely picking up stations, even with a headphone set with a long cable (better antenna). Stations I can hear are never clear, lots of static. I can also hear a regular beat and every move of the menu is translated into sounds. I tried the headphones shipped with the unit, as well as other headphones with the jack adapter.

Note: I have an i-Nickel that has great radio reception, so I can compare.

I have one too, but I can't really compare with another model. The radio seems fine to me, though there is a bit of static - but I don't think it's as bad as you claim on my one. I can pick up stations clearly when using it, and when music is playing the static is unoticeable.
