i Nickle Firmware from Uxcell
 

Got my 1gb i nickel on Friday. Worked fine in the beginning and i listened to it for 2 hours then switched it off. The next day an hourglass showed on the screen and the player wasn't responsive. So i emailed uxcell about the problem and they had me download 2 firmwares from their site. The first one made my player have a white screen and the second one a blue screen. With noting to loose i tried about all the firmwares from this site. Most gave me a white screen with a black bar across the middle. Another, ctw500_9.0.43 to be exact, the orange screen with hourglass but the display is cut off.

I emailed Uxcell back saying the firmwares didn't help. Haven't recieved a reply though.Any suggestions on what to do next? Shipping to China is gonna cost quite a bit and i bought the player as a replacement til my Creative Zen V is repaired. Funny thing is that the i nickel is causing me more problems.

Yeah well at least you got help, they deleted my post with out even providing me any help. They suggested the same thing for me and like you that was exactly what happened. And now they stopped answering my e-mails.
