Postage time to Australia
 

(I had a topic about this but is was lost in the database corruption)

In May I ordered an MP4 player from Uxcell. After being advised postage would take 7-14 working days (i.e. just under 3 full weeks), I have now been waiting 24 working days (nearly 5 full weeks). There has been no change to the item's status at the Hong Kong Post tracking site, and I'm still being told to wait-and-see.

Is this still within a reasonable timeframe for postage from Hong Kong to Australia? Everything else I've bought from Hong Kong has arrived within 2 weeks.

What do I do next?

No it's not. Thats way too long if it's from Uxcell. I've never had to wait more than 12 'normal' days for something from them and i'm in outback Qld. (The 'real' outback.. meaning theres no Maccas or KFC for at least a 6 hour drive)

Somethings up mate. I assume you've told them everything already. It might be time to say "look i don't have it, it's been far too long and it's probably lost.. i think a chargeback is in order or send another and if the other turns up i'll send it back"... or something of that nature.

All sorted - a new one was sent on the 5th and it arrived today.
