Would you recommend these players to somebody who is looking for a modest amount of space (about 2gb) along with cool design and functionality for a cheap price? I am mad that these players look so good, because I am afraid to buy one for fear of it breaking.

What player do you like best?

I currently have a sansa ca250, but I would really like a player that has fide capabilities and a bigger screen. chiPods seem to be the solution right now. Right now my sansa is acting up. It freezes periodically and has random glitches all of the time. My friend told me (from many past experiences, he did this with 4 players!) to try to mess the player up bad through normal use by pressing the buttons really fast all of the time, or hitting it until something happens. Then send it back (if they wouldnt take it back before doing this...) and get a new one in its packaging. Then take it to a store (preferably the store where the price is highest) and telling them that my friend gave it to me but I didnt want it, and that they either didnt have the receipt anymore or that I dont want them knowing I returned it to get my money back.

Anyways... Which player on Uxcell would you recommend? I have mentioned that I would like an sd slot of sorts (normal or micro), video capabilities, long battery life (maybe 5+ hours on video, longer on music. possibly a battery that I could change), and most of all, durability. This is the most common problem I have seen. I want a player that will last.

Am I looking for too much? I dont know much about chiPods as I have never had one. I want to be able to keep myself occupied on an upcoming trip to eastern Europe (from the US, long flight!)

I would also like a player that doesnt need a driver (still suggest it, but tell me)

cheaplozer,

Personally i'd recommend a Rockchip player from Uxcell. The one in particular is the new Omega.

It has all the features you mentioned.. and then some. I wouldn't classify it as a 'Chipod' though, as it has alot more going for it.
It's faster, larger screen and plays .avi/xvid movies. And the 'buttons' are touch sensitive (or so they claim.

I'd choose something like that over a Sansa any day.

By the way, i've bought players from Uxcell many times and they've never let me down
