Uxcell 1.8" 2GB firmware problems - please help?

I have a 2 GB 1.8" Full Metal Platinum mp3/mp4 player, and after flashing the firmware (incorrectly), I too see the blasted white screen. I have tried to download the proper firmware from the uxcell site, but after flashing both versions (1 and 2), I still get the white screen and absolutely no functionality.

Can anyone point me toward firmware

I can't seem to find model mp048 on the uxcell site anymore. I can find mp0478 and mp049, but not the one I"m looking for.....

A while back I downloaded this from their site: "firmware_mp048_full_metal_1.8inch" but inside the folder are two firmware versions with titles:

LST-046A(XCELL).bin
LST-046.BIN

Are they the FW you've tried?

Otherwise:
- Keep trying all FW with platinum in the title

- before downloading to player first open each FW with s1res http://www.mympxplayer.org/s1res-v19-df349.html
You can quickly see if the FW has similar images to the one that you had.
