Broken Screen
I bought an mp4 (actually avi) Player from uxcell through ebay in the summer and one day I take it out of my pocket and turn it on: half the screen is gone, nothing but grey.
I emailed uxcell and they wouldn't respond until I threatened with a bad feedback. We played "email tag" for a while and through their poorly translated english they told me I could pay 35$ to get it fixed. I would have to send it to them and back (around 70$, the same as the player). It still works (with half a screen), but I want to get it fixed (I really like the features a lot). Is there anywhere in the U.S. where i can have it replaced/fixed? (Remember, It's the lcd screen underneath, not the glass) |
Re: Broken Screen
Well i am not living in USA but i do think the trade rule can make the eBay and the Uxell to replace the Mp4 or to Fix it for free. You have to do complaint against it.

Uxcell said that warranty didnt cover the screen if you ever "fall it on the floor or push on it when you are mindless"
My headphones wrapped around the player while in my pocket falls into the "push on it when you are mindless" category. if it had been under warranty it would be free. But seeing as it is not, it wouldn't be free. |
