Uxcell Amazon MP3/4

Player came with instructions for another model, and a link for another set of instructions which were also completely different machine. Computer savvy (20 years!) but new to players. Anyone help, please? Trying very hard to convert .flv to avi with "MP3 utilities tool" but cannot perusade movie to show anywhere on player.
Help, please?

Your player is a Rockchip, it will only play movies in .avi format.
Use vidrop to convert your movies, it's made for Rockchips.

Thankyou Knob - will download and try. Used an earlier version, and thought I'd been successful, but wouldn't show up on my player at all.

Re: Uxcell Amazon MP3/4

knob - (or anyone else, please?) downloaded vidrop - STILL won't play converted .avi - says it is wrong format. Have tried converting straight to player, and also converting to PC and then downloading to player. It just will not happen. Any other ideas, please? I basically bought this machine in order to watch videos, and all I can see is the 2 minute samples which came with the Amazon/Rockchip.
Uxcell, -surprise-won't answer my emails.
Please help, if you can

are you maing sure your movies are 320x240 and that they are using MP2 for audio and not MP3, also are you converting from DVD or another source

Re: Uxcell Amazon MP3/4

did all that - still says file format error. Is it to do with what folder I put the movie in on the player? I made a separate video folder, and put the transposed movie into it - both direct output, and by transferring completed file through PC? This is sending me insane (r)!....

mm

that should have worked, have you tried converting something that is not FLV file, maybe there is something wrong with the FLV hat the converter can t detect

shame you do not have one of the latest player as they play FLV direct without conversion, your player does not - shame

with the vidrop preset for rockchips at 320x240 it should work, have a look i the download section for a test vid and see if that works
