I do have a firmware of the player which has telbook and games. The 'shell' casing is the same, but I need to confirm that they are using the same solution.

However, the button configuration is DIFFERENT, so bear this in mind. If you are going to update your player with this firmware, your buttons might not behave in the same way as your original firmware.

I will be uploading the firmware shortly so look out for it.

Thanks,
Binh

I have uploaded the firmware here: https://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.ph...ile&file_id=56

Yes, this player also has a STATIC menu sequence (no animation, just one image).

Check the center button configuration to make sure the buttons are the same as yours.

Unfort, I dont' know the solution your player is using, but if it has the same button configuration, bootup, shutdown and menu images, then it might match. It seems strange though that yours don't have telebook, while this one does.

Can you tell me how long you've had the player now? Maybe this firmware I have is an updated one? Not too sure.

Thanks,
Binh

The two MP3345 firmware files are slightly different.
Mainly because one has GAMES, while the other one doesn't.

Yes, I do have another player with animated menu (with the "Welcome" screen coming out of th water). I will upload this later today for you.

Are you more than welcome to upload your firmware to the site. As long as it's legit and working, I will make it available on our site for everyone .

In the "Downloads" section, under "Firmware" (where you download other firmware, there is a section called "Uploads by Members". Go in there and upload your firmware. Let me know when you do and I will approve it and make it available on the site.

Thanks,
Binh

Hi junak,

Thanks for the upload. I have approved your file and put it on the site now. .

I also have a player here that has the same menus as your player. I was going to upload that later today. The menu items are the same as well.

I've asked the manufacturer of my player to see if there is an update to the firmware that will allow for Telebook. But generally they don't update the firmware to add extra features as it's usually the standard firmware that comes with the chip board.

The manufacturers don't tend to spend extra money developing the firmware as long as it works.

Thanks,
Binh
