Hi,

The firmware here: http://www.mympxplayer.com/dload.php...ile&file_id=58 looks similar. However, you need to double check.

Always BACKUP your existing firmware before updating it with another one.

Is there any reason why you want to update your firmware? Bear in mind, it doesn't give you any new features.

Hi!
Thanks for answering to my post. I don't think that I can use that firmware because the buttons are different from my MP4.
Anyway, the reason for changing my firmware is that I don't like too much the visual part (too many flowers for me). I think that my version is the last version (it says march 2006) but I prefer another version with no flowers everywhere (in playing music, video, opening, ending, radio...etc). If you find any other firmware please tell me.
Thank you for everything. Bye!

Have you tried using S1fwx to extract the firmware and altering it on your own?

Hi!
Yes I have tried it but the only thing I have done is to change the language traduction (Spanish language was awful). I don't know how to change menus and other things using that program. I would thank you if you could tell me how to change them. Please, answer as soon as possible. Bye!

After you extract it, use S1res to browse around your firmware file for whatever you want to change. When you find it, import a bitmap of your choosing. After you modify the firmware to your liking, save it and then upgrade your firmware.

Hi Guest (please think about registering),

If you want to know how to extract the firmware of your player, you can read the instructions here: http://www.mympxplayer.com/viewtopic.php?p=207

Once you have extracted the firmware of your player, why not upload it to our site? Then we can all have a look at it for you. If you want to change it yourself, you will need to use the S1res program to do this. Download the S1res program here.
