Default Headphones with 2.5 mm sub-mini jack

Anyone knows where to buy a GOOD pair of headphones with a 2.5 mm sub-mini jack that fit that damn 2.5 mm sub-mini plug that many MP4 players are equipped with? :?:

Yeah, I've found some on eBay but don't look very good to me.
They only cost £1, which means they must be REAL cheap...

I'd rather not buy an adapter. It wastes a lot of space, and that would be in contrast to my wanting a small player!

I bought some on Ebay that look identical to ipod headphones, they work great too.

you should look for a cable adapter (or however you call that thing with a short piece of cable between the two ends of the adapter.. this way you save space => still fits in your pocket)

Thanks for the hint EgoTrippin! I'll go check if I can find that!
In the meanwhile I've bought a pair of Sagem (an european cell phones maker) headphones with 2.5" jack which work very well.

Mobil phone stores sell them for their MP3 playing phones.

I just got my 1.8” mp4 player and it has these mini jack headphones. The earbuds aren’t the greatest and my FM transmitter for the car will not fit so I think I’ll cut the earbud cable and solder on a female standard jack to make and adaptor. I just can’t decide if I want a single jack or build a cable with 2 output jacks like a Y splitter or find one of those extension cables with an external volume control to build an adaptor with.
