Just thought i'd join the community as I have bought a 1.8" screen 1Gb MP4 player.

So, Kia Ora & Gidday to all.

I purchased my player from here, apparently they are only sending to New Zealand residents only as their website mentions, 1 year warranty though so i'm stoked!

MP4 Direct N.Z.

Anybody here have the same player as me with any cool new pictures?, my player is in the gallery under my username, thanks 8)

Hey MiCROBit, welcome to the site and thanks for the post, a good selection of players on the site.

PS It's a good idea to do a backup of your firmware as it may come in handy if you have any problems with your player.

I downloaded 's1fwx Version 3.0' was this the right tool to back my firmware? Cheers.

I haven't heard of "MP4 Direct N.Z" before. I run this site, but also www.mediaplayers.co.nz as well (selling MPx players too in NZ only).

Hope you enjoy your time here.
There are some good articles in the Knowledge Base section which will guide you through backing up your firmware and modifying it as well.
