Default A bit slow music playing

Hi,
first off, great site  . I decided to post here because i have problem with music. Quite often when i start listening, songs are played quite slow. I mean they aren't played at normal speed but something between 0 and -1 tempo rate(even if tempo rate is set to 0, changing tempo rate forth and back doesn't work). First few songs(no matter in which folder they are and in what place)are played in such way, but after some time of working songs start to play with normal speed. This slow only happens at the beginning, when I turn on my player(I use PLAY button to on/off my player). What causes such thing? I will be very grateful for help.

djb, this is a problem I have not heard of before. There are a couple of things you could try that may help. Using s1fwx extract your firmware from your player and run the repair.bat, then reload back to your player using the MP3 Upgrade Tool. This can sometimes fix little problems that some players seem to have. The other is to format the player then reload your music files.

Try changing the playing speed on the menu!

As Superboto says, there is an option to change the tempo of the songs, the weird thing is that your songs play at different tempos..
Could you tell us what MPx do you have?

In my case, I can found the "change tempo" function in the MPx player which has a little speaker on each side, and has 2 earphone outputs..

While the song is playing, I press the joystick and a menu appears, there is one option called "tempo rate"

hope it helps
