Microsoft free MP3 to WMA converter - save up to 50% space

Well guys what's the verdict, I'm not an audiophile but yes, size does matter for me since my chiPod only has 512M.. is it still recommended to convert MP3 to WMA?

I found another free (non-Microsoft) MP3 to WMA converter. Since it is newer software it may be able to handle more of the Variable Bit Rate MP3's that failed with the Microsoft software.

be VERY careful when downloading microsoft software because they are due to launch vista soon so there putting bugs spyware viruses etc in there software. they do it every time they launch a new operating system.

BTW, the Microsoft MP3 to WMA software is a few years old so that sort of thinking is a little late. And if you're truly paranoid, my own site's zip file is separate from any Microsoft web site:
