Advice: compression on mp4/mp3 player
need advice whether its safe to compress my mp4/mp3 player. btw i only have windows 98se.

ljlayos, Never heard of anyone trying it so can't tell you one way or another. My only concern would be that the firmware may not be able to read from a compressed drive which could cause you problems.

If you want to save disk space, try converting your files to .WMA files instead of MP3 as it will be smaller so saving you space. Compression is slower for Windows to access, I don't know what it will be like on your player (or whether it will work for all that matter). |
thnx appreciate the advice
