Hi,
First of all, I forgot how to check the version of my mp4 player? anyone? (i think i had 3.5.35)

anyways, there are some functions which I thinkwould be a great addition. e.g. listeningto audiobooks, its very cumbersome to forward toa poin, lets say 30minutes. takes a hell of a long time.
Also, this isa repeat but the list funtions for a song is a must! and itshould be fast. My mp4 player is slow like shit to respond!!
And it should support more video types.

i know its very difficult, bbut hope some genius geek cracks the firmwares etc to make theese work, the chinese wont do anything!

To check youe FW version you can simply go to the "System" menu in your player and search for it! ;D

Glad you like the forum.
You can check your firmware version also using the s1fwx tool to extract it. It will show up on the screen once it's been extracted what the version is.

Yeh, I agree, I wish I knew enough about programming to do it myself! :). I've tried a lot to bug the manufacturers to change it, but they won't do it unless you pay them lots of money and order a few thousand units. It's actually the chip manufacturers that you need to convince as they mainly do the updating or configuring....... Plus I don't know enough Chinese to try to use some of the apps available (I have some but in chinese :()
