After a 1-day delay thanks to USPS misrouting the package, I received my MP4 player.
It's a black 2GB nano clone, apparently called a "Yepo Nano"
I filled it up with about 1.12GB and verified that each song plays via the player on my PC, so I'm pretty positive that it's really 2 gigs, I just haven't had the time to fill it up yet.
I'm in love with this thing... It looks just like a Nano, no big "MP4" logo, just the screen and the buttons, came with a ton of accessories (FM transmitter/car charger, wall charger, armband, silicon case, suede pouch, necklace), and works great.
The seller said it played MTV format, but thankfully it came preloaded with two AMV files that play fine and look great, so I will be able to load it up with some stuff without taking a ton of space.
I've played around with it a bit, the FM transmitter that lets you play it on your car stereo without an audio-in isn't all that great (gets lots of static) but it was a bonus and doubles as a car charger... The demo videos that were loaded onto it play really smoothly and look impressive... It came bundled with a mini-CD with a bunch of software (AMV converters/etc), but thanks to the warning I think I will stick to software I download from this site to ensure I don't get infected with spyware.
My big surprise is that it would appear that the player has 3.5.37 firmware which apparently is the latest and greatest from what I've read, but unfortunately I can't browse songs like some can, I can skip around if I know what number the song is and go straight to that number, but otherwise it works more like a shuffle.
Still, I paid $76 shipped and a real Nano costs about 150ish, and doesn't do half of the stuff as this thing, nor come with all the accessories, so I'm very happy and would highly recommend, barring this thing goes up in flames in a day or two
Here are the pics of my new Nano.

If anyone wants I will try and see if I can get more info on the player from the tool that does that, if you could link me to what I need to do so that would be great.
PS: On the fourth picture, there are 2 dates.... The top one is 6/20/2006, do you think that this was when this unit was assembled? I have already set it with todays date (7/5/06) but the firmware info screen still shows 6/20/2006 and 3/15/05... If it was really manufactured on the 20th, that's pretty impressive since it practically just rolled off the assembly line.
Thanks for all the help, I'll be looking into converting AMV's and a few days and will probably need some more :P
