Need Help My Screen Is lit but is black
 

hello thanks for looking i need help i have a white MP4/mp3 player it was working untill i uploaded the wrong firmware i would not turn on so i read the dead mp3 players guide about taking it apart and and with twisers and stuff well it worked and i uloaded every firmware from this web site and it still dose not work but windows detets it and it and i can put files on it but it is black can some one please tell me what to do if you know please post thanks hunter yelton

Hunter, This is generally an indication that you have still not found the correct firmware for your player. There are so many different variations and combinations of componenets used to build them that quite often the hardest part of the whole process is finding the right firmware. There are also some for download at s1mp3.org.
Also I have noticed that not all the firmware in the download section have been repaired after extraction and will give an error report when trying to use them. If this happens rename them dump.bin and use the repair.bat in the s1fwx folder to fix them.
