Default clickwheel

hello,
my first post here and i hope not the last. for the last few days i searched on ebay for a nano clone and i´m, wondering if you can tell me if there is a clone that has the clickwheel function like the original nano. e.g tune up the volume by rotating on the wheel.

thanks
your making a great job

To make it short and simple the answer is "NO" Apple iPod's click wheel technology is Patented I would think. So all these Nano Clone (ChiPod's) buttons are just push in activated like buttons on a phone. You push them in and they work. lol

ranma-rambo, I agree with Pocket_Nano, I have not seen or heard of a proper click wheel on ChiPods.
Mind you if the technology was patented I doubt if it would stop the manufacturers from ripping it off.

hex,

thanks for the fast answer. sadly i was prepared for that. For what I see the clickwheel is the only thing better with the ipod then the chipods. but is there any big difference between the chipods except that some have M and others Menu written on the buttons, and for shure 1,5 and 1,8 displays ;-) but with everxthing they are very similar nor?

anyway thank you again and till the time i bought a chipod

see ya

no way... ipod clones have much functionality but real ipods are smooth... slick... nice interface... the quality of the screen big difference too.. the clones give out 65k oled and real pods are like 260k tft i think...

The fake, MPx players have the added ability to 'reskin' the look of the player, which adds a nice little touch to those who want to customise their players with a different skin/theme.

Majority of MPx players also have FM tuners, which a lot of the iPods don't have unless you buy an attachment for it (which will cost you an arm and a leg for it).

Colour screen MPx players also play VIDEO as well as a standard, which is nice for music videos etc....
